Oliver Pastor Violine

Oliver Pastor was born in Belgrade, Serbia, as member of a Musician family.

He received his first violin lessons from his father Gaspar Pastor, who is violinist of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, at the age of five.

After studying under the direction of Prof. Jaksic and Prof. Maksimovic at the Belgrade University, Oliver Pastor moved to Vienna, where he studies with Prof. Bienkowski at the Viennese University for Music and Performing Arts.

2001 he was awarded the 1st Prize at the International Violin Competition Petar Konjovic in Belgrade. In 2006 he made the first prize at Fidelio Competition in Vienna together with his string quartet.

Since 2009 Oliver Pastor is member or the first violin group of the Vienna Volksopera, where he regularly also performs together with his string quartet but also as soloist.

From 2007 on he is member of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and concerts at the most important venues and concert halls, as well as festival, throughout Europe, Asia, South America, etc.
