The Grand Finale

In October 2018, the three-part concert series PRIME TIME begins with the slogan „Experience live music during the best broadcast time“. The series features the Vienna Chamber Orchestra under the direction of its principal guest conductor, Joji Hattori. As its artistic director, he created this rather unconventional form of musical enjoyment. 

The Vienna Chamber Orchestra and Joji Hattori will appear for the third time on March 29, 2019 at the Wiener Konzertzhaus in this innovative and communicative concert
performance. An evening of classical music with selected rarities will be offered in the relaxed atmosphere of the Berio Hall. Through its informal character with moderation and interactive conversations with artists on the stage, the series is unique.  

The lively concept is underscored through the choice of soloists: In this concert series, great young artists who have already made remarkable appearances at renowned competitions and performances will be making their Konzerthaus debuts.

In the finale on March 29, 2019 the young Austrian Contrabass soloist, Dominik Wagner, will be introduced.
