Again, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra offers musical highlights throughout the Matinee Series. The Spanish Soprano Ainhoa Arteta, the pianist Elena Bashkirova and the cellist Boris Andrianov raise the most delicate expectations of their interpretations of pieces by Mozart, Puccini and Tchaikovsky.
On the conductor's podium, Robert Moody, Joji Hattori and Philippe Entremont – alongside Stefan Vladar – will present a comprehensive range of classical and contemporary works. The program will not only surprise on the musical level: The the world's oldest surviving animated film "The Adventures of Prince Achmed" is going to be shown together with an arrangement of the original music score by Wolfgang Zeller. This is truly a very rare treasure.
