An inspiring repertoire diversity: The Vienna Chamber Orchestra travels with baroque treasures and contemporary pearls from Central Europe to Japan. The Focus, however, is on classical-romantic symphonies such as Mendelssohn's» Italian «and concerti of the Viennese classical period, where emerging talents and Rising Stars like Simon Höfele and international stars like Sharon Kam appear soloistically. Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, Enrico Onofri and Claire Levacher have their conducting debuts at the Vienna Konzerthaus. Christoph Wagner-Trenkwitz leads through four of the six morning concerts.
