Matinee Zycle 2025/26

In its Sunday matinées, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra presents a carefully curated selection of popular classics and musical rarities. Clarinetist Daniel Ottensamer will perform Mozart’s much-loved Clarinet Concerto, while pianist Dmitry Masleev joins chief conductor Jan Willem de Vriend for the composer’s dramatic Piano Concerto in D minor. 

Violinist Maria Ioudenitch and mezzo-soprano Patricia Nolz, both artists of the Wiener Konzerthaus’s Great Talent programme, will appear as soloists in Schubert’s Concert Piece for Violin and Orchestra and in selected arias by Mozart and Haydn. 

A special highlight is Michael Haydn’s final completed composition – a mass originally written for the Salzburg cathedral choirboys.
