Carolina Lippo

Carolina Lippo studied in Bologna and gained her first stage experience there. In 2013 she was granted a scholarship to study at the Belcanto Academy "Rodolfo Celletti" in Martina Franca. After winning several prizes at various competitions, she has appeared at the Festival della Valle D'Itria, the Teatro della Fortuna in Fano (Zerlina in Mozart's Don Giovanni), the Paisiello Festival and the Teatro Orfeo in Taranto (Menotti: The Telephone).
Since season 2016/17 she belongs to the Junges Ensemble des Theater an der Wien and has already been heard in Handel's Oreste and in Salieri's La scuola de 'gelosi. In the current season, she will still be on stage as Antiope in Porpora's Ariadne on Naxos, Norina in Donizetti's Don Pasquale and Despina in Mozart's Così fan tutte. At the Theater an der Wien she also sings the Second Lady in Gottfried von Einem's The Visit of the Old Lady.
