Biography
Born In Vienna in 1968, Michael Niavarani began his career as an actor In the Graumann Theater in 1986 and moved to the Cabaret Simpl in 1989, whose Artistic Direction he took over in 1993. Michael Niavarani can be seen in numerous austrian television series, in movies and, of course, in his cabaret programs. He was named the most popular series star in 2006, and awarded with the Austrian TV audience prize "Romy" in 2007 and 2008. His books "Vater Morgana" (Novel, 2009) and "Der frühe Wurm hat einen Vogel" (mixed scriptures, 2011) topped the austrian bestseller lists for weeks.
Based on a novel, many short stories, a handful of cabaret programs and countless sketches for the Cbaret Simpl, Michael Niavarani now also writes plays, including the comedy "Reset – Alles auf Anfang" For his Shakespear-comedies "The Incredible Tragedy of Richard III" and "The most lamentable and totally unknown marital tragedy ROMEO & JULIET", his new play, he founded in 2014 an Shakespeare-Theater; The GLOBE WIEN. Michael Niavarani is a cabaret artist, actor and author, he has a daughter and lives in Vienna.
