The Advent concerts at the St. Stephen’s Cathedral treat people to moments of backpedalling – moments, where one can escape the hustle and bustle of the pre-Christmas period, to bethink oneself of the essential.

These impressive evenings will be arranged with ceremonial sacred music, the loveliest Advent-songs and some exclusively selected texts for Christmas time, which will be masterly interpreted by the ensemble Stephansdom, which emerged from the soloists of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra.
